Pompadour Rose 5lt

Pompadour is a distinctive hairstyle defined by a large volume of hair swept upward from the face and worn high over the forehead, often with additional volume swept back and to the sides. Although the style was mistakenly named after the Marquise de Pompadour (c. 1750), official mistress of King Louis XV, she is not believed to have worn her hair in this manner—the name simply endured and became widely associated with the look.
The blooms of this rose reflect that same sense of ornate structure and elegance. Their quartered rosette form is reminiscent of carefully styled curls and decorative frills in elaborate hair arrangements.
This shrub rose grows to shoulder height and produces large, very full blooms with a nostalgic flower form. The abundance and weight of the flower clusters cause the strong canes to arch gracefully in all directions.
The blooms are a medium pink and carry an exceptionally strong fragrance, making this a highly perfumed and visually striking garden rose.
