We all know the antelope Impala, and now we are proud to introduce the similarly coloured ‘Impala’ rose. Like its namesake, this rose is tough, energetic, and always busy. Its strength lies in its fast and reliable repeat flowering, ensuring the plant is almost continuously in bloom.
The neat, well-formed bush is constantly covered in buds and flowers. Over time, it develops into a substantial plant reaching about chest height and the same in width, while maintaining a dense, tidy structure. It is clothed in glossy, disease-resistant green foliage that provides a strong backdrop to the clusters of blooms.
Each small bud forms in a classic pointed shape of rich, intense apricot, gradually softening into lighter shades that echo the colouring of the Impala itself. A single mature plant makes an excellent focal point, while group plantings or hedges create a striking border display. It also performs beautifully in large containers, where its colour and form can be fully appreciated.
