Aloe arborescens, commonly known as the Krantz Aloe or Candelabra Aloe, is a species of succulent plant native to Southern Africa. It belongs to the Aloe genus, which is well-known for its medicinal and ornamental uses.

Appearance
Aloe arborescens is a multi-branched, shrub-like succulent that can grow up to 3 meters in height. It has thick, fleshy leaves that are grey-green in colour and are arranged in a rosette pattern along the stem. The leaves have serrated edges and can be quite large, with a length of about 30 to 60cm.

Flowers
The plant produces vibrant, tubular flowers that grow on tall, erect stalks, known as inflorescences. These flowers are typically orange-red or red in colour and are arranged in clusters at the top of the stalks. Flowering usually occurs in the late fall or winter.
