Climate and Soil Requirements

Temperature: Prefers warm, temperate to subtropical climates. Sensitive to frost, so protection is needed in cooler regions
Soil: Thrives in well-drained, acidic soils with a pH of 5.0-6.5. Requires rich, organic matter
Sunlight: Requires full sun to partial shade. Best flowering occurs in bright, indirect sunlight

Planting and Care

Planting Time: Best planted in spring or early autumn
Spacing: Space plants about 1-1.5 meters apart to allow for adequate growth and air circulation
Watering: Requires regular watering, especially during dry periods. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged
Fertilisation: Apply an acid-forming fertiliser in early spring and again in midsummer to promote healthy growth and abundant flowering
