What sets this variety apart is both its distinctive flower form and its unusual growth habit.
The tightly formed Antico Moderno™ buds are urn-shaped and open slowly, first by the outer two rows of petals gently reflexing backwards. As the bloom develops, the large inner petals begin to expand, loosely folding over one another to create a soft, layered effect.
Its most striking feature is its strong candelabra-like branching, which produces an impressive display of multiple flowering stems. This gives the plant exceptional “flower power” and a dramatic presence in the garden.
It also performs very well in containers, where its unique structure and abundant blooms can be fully appreciated.
